Tax professionals and the Digital Economy
Our summit will review the impact of digitization on governments, business, society and tax professionals. Acclaimed TV journalist, Barbara Serra will moderate a discussion looking at the impact of digital disruption on business models and tax policy developments. The key note address will be by Simon Calver (ex CEO of Love Film). This session will include contributions from Jens Svolgaard (Global Head of Tax for Spotify), Stefano Ceccacci (Head of Group Tax Affairs for Unicredit), alongside KPMG experts from the US and Europe.
On day two, we will review recent and imminent policy developments. Guests will include Massimo Ferrari (Head of Tax at Pirelli), Achim Pross (Head of the International Co-operation and Tax Administration division at the OECD), Michael Lennard (UN, Chief, International Tax Cooperation Section) and Bert Zuijdendorp (Head of Unit Company Taxation Initiatives at European Commission). We will also hear from Pascal Saint-Amans (Director, Centre for Tax Policy and Administration at the OECD) via and exclusive, topical film.
On day two, we will also explore how technology is changing the working lives of tax professionals, assisted by expert speaker Dr Daniel Suskind of Balliol College, Oxford.
As in previous years, Plenary Sessions will address the major issues, whilst smaller Breakout Sessions will dive deep into the technical implications, triggered by current trends.
